Community Consultation Sessions

Sidpec held community consultation sessions to discuss the environmental impact assessment of the propylene and polypropylene projects in the presence of the people of El Nahda are.  

One of the sessions was attended by Governor of Alexandria, Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz H. Konsowa, Chemist/ Saad Helal, Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Petrochemicals, Dr. Al-Kharashi, Chairman of Petroleum and Chemical Society, Chemist/Abdul Majeed Hijazi, Chairman of Ethedco Co. and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemical Company, Dr. Alaa Ramadan, Vice President of Alexandria University for Environmental Affairs.

In his speech, Dr. Mossad El Kasaby Chairman and CEO of Sidpec, said that Sidpec project is to produce poly propylene with a production capacity of 450 tons per year, at an estimated investment cost of $ 1.2 billion.
