sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SIDPEC), the jewel of the petrochemical industry in Egypt and the Middle East, was proud to participate for the eighth consecutive year in the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition (EGYPS 2025), held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, alongside His Excellency President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus, His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and His Excellency Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. The event took place from February 17–19, 2024, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, under the theme: "Building a Secure and Sustainable Energy Future." EGYPS 2025 saw extensive international and domestic participation from ministers of petroleum and energy, chief executive officers, global thought leaders in the energy sector, heads of major international and local companies, representatives of international organizations, and experts in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. This year’s edition stood out for its unique character and reflected the integration among various ministries and governmental institutions within Egypt’s energy sector. SIDPEC welcomed visitors at Hall 3, Stand E20, on the first day of the event, led by Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director, accompanied by the company’s Assistant Chairmen and a number of emerging young leaders. SIDPEC’s participation in this prestigious event served as a global platform for exchanging technical expertise and insights, whether through direct meetings or panel discussions. It also aimed to attract further international investment into the petrochemical and energy sectors, bringing together leaders, decision-makers, and innovators to unlock investment opportunities, accelerate technological progress, and shape the future of the energy industry. Moreover, SIDPEC continues to contribute to industrial and economic development through its ambition for growth and expansion across various fields, with the aim of strengthening its regional and international standing through investment and partnerships in major projects. Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim expressed his pleasure at the unwavering support received from the political leadership and the guidance of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources across all the company’s activities, in addition to the ongoing support and oversight from the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company. He affirmed that SIDPEC remains committed to achieving national objectives and aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 by adopting innovative environmental solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency, reflecting its dedication to applying the latest environmental sustainability standards and reinforcing its position as an environmentally and industrially responsible company. He also highlighted that SIDPEC began its journey more than a quarter of a century ago, under the motto: "25 Years of Expertise... Building Success." Today, SIDPEC is not merely an industrial company but a model of sustainable success in the petrochemical sector, continuously striving to deliver innovative solutions that support the Egyptian economy and strengthen its position both locally and internationally.
