SIDPEC Chairman Applauds Rising Young Leaders in Huawei Global Simulation Success

as part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' vision to invest in human capital as a cornerstone of the sector’s modernization, Eng./Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director of Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SIDPEC), extended his congratulations to Dr. Eng./Ahmed Sobhy Mohamed Omran and Eng./Mohamed Saeed Mahmoud Hanafi for successfully completing their practical training program abroad, in collaboration with Huawei Global. This forms part of the fifth phase of the Leadership Development Program for young and mid-level managers in the petroleum sector.
SIDPEC’s engineers, who took part in the program, excelled by securing top positions in both individual and group assessments, demonstrating outstanding performance throughout. Eng./Mohamed Ibrahim underscored the importance of broadening the pool of young talents, acknowledging them as a driving force behind ongoing development. He stressed the need for continued effort to propel Egypt’s progress, highlighting the vital role of human capital in achieving national advancement and prosperity.
It is noteworthy that the training program was held at Huawei’s headquarters in several Chinese cities over a two-month period. The program focused on the implementation of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing in various sectors of the oil and gas industry.
