The "Egypt's Best Summit" annually honours the most influential individuals and companies in the Egyptian economy and public life, celebrating successes across various developmental and social sectors. The event enjoys broad governmental sponsorship and participation, with numerous ministers and senior executive leaders from companies and institutions in attendance. This year's summit was held under the slogan "Successful Egyptian Models in the Era of Challenges." Many companies and individuals achieved exceptional goals in 2023 despite global crises and geopolitical tensions that directly impacted national economies, including Egypt's. These entities have garnered local and regional attention with their diverse activities and have redefined themselves within economic sectors as key players capable of driving sustainable growth and enhancing financial, industrial, and commercial activities. The lists of honourees are prepared annually in collaboration with several investment banks and economic analysis centres, based on criteria related to business performance, financial analysis, innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility. This approach aims to elevate the global ranking of local companies in light of the evolving global economy, which increasingly relies on qualitative classification as a primary reference for evaluating emerging economies. Despite global economic turmoil, Egyptian companies have recorded significant growth over the past year, led by the banking, financial services, energy, industry, real estate, telecommunications, and information technology sectors.
