Signing a partnership agreement between SIDPEC and Ran Gas Nigeria

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources gave great attention to enhancing partnership and cooperation with global companies and European and African countries, and expanding investment projects, which contributes to increasing national income through the follow-up of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company. Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SIDPEC) signed a partnership agreement with the Nigerian company Ran Gas to establish a factory in Egypt to produce LPG cylinders with an annual production capacity of one million cylinders for export abroad with the possibility of future expansion and distribution in the local market in the event that the technical specifications are approved by the concerned Egyptian authorities using polyethylene applications. The partnership agreement was signed by Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director of SIDPEC, Mr. Hossam Habib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ran Gas Egypt, and Mr. Lance Ransome, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ran Gas Nigeria, in the presence of a number of leaders. Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, SIDPEC Chairman, confirmed that the positive results achieved in recent years under the guidance and sponsorship of Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, support investors' and partners' confidence in the investment climate in the petroleum sector and encourage them to do more work towards injecting new investments.
